La Fine Equipe

Made of four beatmakers (Oogo, Chomsky, Mr.Gib and Blanka), La Fine Equipe has been into the limelight of the electronic scene from 2008. Strengthened by this start warmly supported by the public and the professionals, the quartet pursues its explorations and launches the composition of the (now famous) trilogy La Boulangerie. Three opuses on which they gathered a lot of their peers by inviting them to add their stone to the French beatmaking edifice built by La Fine Equipe.

The combination of their musical personalities creates a universe characterizing their group whereas they still manage to develop their own projects. After using his magic on his MPC as a member of the duo Jukebox Champions, Blanka keeps producing on his own with Kasablanka, and soon with a new duo named Arcade (with Tigerz).

On their side, Oogo and Chomsky, founders of the label Nowadays Records, keep on spreading their musical family and hit the road to fill the clubs with their duo Hoosky. Mr.Gib, technician operating in the shadows, created his own studio One Two Pass It and works with artists such as Wax Tailor, Rone, Fakear or Chinese Man.

Parallel to this omnipresence onto the musical landscape, they keep on working in studio and playling live together to pursue their dancing explorations and share them with their public.

Worthy ambassadors of a new French electronic scene symbolized with the expansion of the independent label Nowadays Records, they hit the road from 2015 and covered numerous festivals such as Les Vieilles Charrues, Dour Festival, Les Francofolies, Le Printemps de Bourges or Couleur Café before ending the year by winning the Deezer Adami Price.

In 2016, La Fine Equipe stays on the road and widens its horizons. The year begins with a three weeks tour in South-East Asia (Burma, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapor) before throwing a handful of Nowadays Parties in big French cities and Belgium.

With a growing fame, the four beatmakers dragged the attention of medias and prescribers like Arte, Mixmag or the Boiler Room that invited them to represent the new French Electronic scene in Paris and London in April 2016.

Precursors of a flying off scene like the Nowadays label that doubled its roaster within six months, La Fine Equipe is now back in studio for a new album destined to conquers the planet.
