Fiona Macgown
Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris as well as the Musikhochschule
in Leipzig in Germany, the mezzo-soprano Fiona McGown is a young rising figure of the French lyric

During the season 2016-2017, she could be heard at the Théâtre des Champs Élysées, at the Théâtre
de l’Athénée as well as at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Her warm and bright voice enables her to
interpret numerous repertoires: her preferred opera roles thus far include Juno in Haendel Semele, Cherubino in Mozart Nozze di Figaro, Hänsel in Humperdinck  Hänsel und Gretel and Fidalma in Cimarosa Il Matrimonio Segreto.

She has given numerous recitals especially at the Petit Palais and at Les Invalides in Paris. During her rich musical journey, she has been honoured to receive training and instruction from Bernarda Fink, Christoph Prégardien, Véronique Gens and Karine Deshayes.

This winter, she will be performing Bernstein with Paris Orchestra in Paris Philharmonie.
